And we love them. Aged wood is their name and being on my house is their game! FINALLY!
Some other updates to the house are: finished plumbing and heating/air, electrician is almost done, front doors have been installed, and we have a new, cute little chimney (see it?).
Big things coming up are: rough-in inspection, putting rock on the chimney and study (section of house left of the front doors), putting up the Hardie Board, filling in the back porch with dirt and hopefully sheet rock on the inside!!!
Our contractor told us this week that he is aiming to have us moved in by the end of January, unless "the weather gets in the way." Which is code for: "I'm telling you January because that's what you want to hear, but it will probably be late February or maybe even March."
If we're in by the end of January? Well, a party will ensue. A big, humongous party. And you're all invited.
Here's hoping another house update will be coming soon:)
